  • Modified recipe of Bouillabaise. Added saffron, orange peel. Used 1.5 pounds shrimp; 1 pound bay scallops; 1.2 pounds cod
  • Beet Salad (used roasted red beets and one large navel orange, with lacinato kale, modified dressing)
  • Ken Forkish, Saturday Overnight Bread, served with butter (1/2 each salted and unsalted)
  • Almond cake from Salt Fat Acid Heat with cardamom spiced whipped cream (try a different almond cake?)

  • Hotel Sorrento Tomato Soup, added pumpkin puree (1 cup per half recipe), it was delicious
  • Beet Salad (used yellow beets, and kale and spinach for the greens)
  • Spiral-cut ham, reheated at 275° for 10 minutes per pound
  • Cornbread with butter and honey
  • Ice cream (vanilla and peppermint), with a spiced plum sauce and also the Brownell Chocolate Sauce

May 2018

  • African Sweet Potato Stew
  • Hashed broccoli (chopped fairly small and sauteed in butter and oil)
