  1. Tristar
  2. Albion
  3. Seascape

Suggested June varieties for Oregon

  1. Sweet sunrise
  2. Rainier
  3. Puget Crimson

Purchased 2018: Day neutral

SweetKiss (Home Depot)
Height: 6-8 inches
Spread: 24-36 inches

Super-sweet, extra-juicy fruit from June until frost … beats other berries in blind taste tests. Perfect size for small gardens.

Keep soil evenly moist. Avoid wilt and mulch well to conserve moisture.

Fertilize monthly. Provide 6 or more hours of sun per day.

How to grow Day Neutral strawberries

Use the hill system (8″ high hills, one plant per hill). Make hills 12-15″ apart in double or triple wide rows. Midpoint of crown should be level with the top of the soil. Mulch with straw.

Remove runners, and fertilize with balanced (eg. 6-6-6) fertilizer.
