1/2 cup butter, browned (do not discard solids)
1/4 cup dark brown sugar
3/4 cup powdered sugar
salt to taste
2 tsp cinnamon powder
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Brown and then cool butter. Add all other ingredients and mix well.
Note: try adding brown sugar while butter is still warm, so it melts. The original recipe was pretty crunchy.
This would be good on home-made graham crackers. Does not work well for macaron filling.
