1 lb. brown sugar
8 ounces butter (2 cubes)
1 cup light corn syrup
1 pint half & half
dash of salt
Melt butter and brown sugar in a large, heavy saucepan. Add corn syrup, salt, and half & half. Boil until mixture reaches 244°. Pour into a 9″ x 9″ pan. Cool completely; cut into small squares and wrap with waxed paper or coat with chocolate.
Makes 50; 2.25 lbs. OK to make double recipe.
