1 lb. brown sugar
8 oz. butter
1 cup light corn syrup
2 cups Half & Half
dash of salt
Melt butter and brown sugar in a large, heave saucepan. Add remaining ingredients. Boil until it reaches 240 degrees, usually about 30 minutes. Pour into a 9×9 pan that has been buttered and lined with parchment paper.
Cool completely, then cut into small squares. Wrap in glassine, or cover with melted chocolate.
