4 tbsp butter
5 eggs
2 1/2 cups milk
8 – 9 slices bread, cubed (no crusts)
Chopped ham or cooked bacon
2 cups grated cheese
Melt the butter in an 8″ x 12″ shallow casserole dish. Mix the eggs and milk together. Make layers of half the bread cubes, half the ham, half the egg mixture, and half the cheese. Repeat. Refrigerate several hours or overnight. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes to an hour.
