For one serving:
1 tbsp each butter and olive oil
1 tsp garlic
6-7 prawns, peeled and deveined
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1-2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp water
Fresh chopped parsley, to garnish
2-3 ounces pasta, cooked
Have all ingredients ready. Boil water for pasta and start it cooking.
Heat a skillet for cooking the shrimp. Add the butter and olive oil.
Six minutes before the pasta is done cooking, add the garlic to the hot skillet. Cook one minute, stirring.
Add the shrimp, along with salt and pepper to taste. Cook two minutes on one side, stirring occasionally. Flip and cook 2 minutes on the other side until just beginning to turn pink.
Add the lemon juice and water. Cook, while stirring, about a minute or less, until the shrimp is done. Drain the pasta and add it to the skillet. Heat gently for 30 seconds just to blend the flavors.
Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve over pasta.
