2 medium fresh pears
8 leaves Bibb lettuce
2 tbsp crumbled blue cheese
Wine dressing
1 tbsp salad oil
1 tbsp white wine
1 tbsp white wine vinegar
1/2 tsp grated onion
salt to taste
pepper to taste
Slice pears into 4 pieces from top to bottom. Remove core. Thinly slice each piece from top to bottom. Arrange 2 lettuce leaves on each of 4 salad plates. Fan pear slices on lettuce. Drizzle 2 teaspoons of dressing over each salad. Sprinkle with 1/2 tablespoon blue cheese. Serve immediately.
