Growing Radishes

Seed directly into garden anytime soil is workable, March through September. Cover seeds with 1/4 inch light soil, spacing 1-1.5″ apart. Plant in rows 6-12″ apart, or in wide rows with 2″ of space for each plant in all directions. Once seedlings are established, thin to 1-1.5″ apart. Consistent watering will eliminate woody roots.

Germinates in approximately one week. Keep soil moderately moist during germination. For a continual harvest, plant every 2-3 weeks during the cooler parts of the growing season.
